This is a small detail that no one can ignore.
The launch of the Audi RS3 Sportback and RS3 sedan is admittedly long overdue. Last year, we saw spy photos of a prototype of the next-generation model, which performed test runs mainly at the Nurburgring. The last time we saw a masked prototype of the RS3 sedan was just this week, but the RS3 Sportback was last seen back in may.
On the other hand, the launch of the powerful Audi A3 is still planned for the next four to six months, so Yes, we will wait a little longer.
However, our expectations will not be in vain. Some of the information leaked to Motor1 from Periodis Del Motor, a Spanish car website, regarding a small design detail of the upcoming RS3.
As you can see in the photo above, the matrix led configurations of the entire Audi A3 line were shown. the photo, which appears to have been taken in an exclusive presentation, shows the RS3 in the lower right corner. Interestingly, the headlight will have a checkered flag as part of its detail, which sets the A3's performance apart from the rest of the line.
This coincides with the A3 sedan, which was launched back in April, and previous spy shots of the RS3 sedan. the DRL has a corner box consisting of LEDs in a Three-by-five configuration. According to the report, these diodes can work differently, meaning that each of the cars in the A3 range can be identified with this tiny design detail.
However, treat this with some skepticism. Although the authenticity of the image above cannot be confirmed, we are inclined to believe that this small design detail will impress us in the production body of the Audi RS3.
We'll learn more about the Audi RS3 when it launches in the first half of next year.
